See Ulaanbaatar's main attractions first on this 4-day itinerary, and then continue north to investigate the Darkhad Valley. After spending the night at a traditional camp for Tsaatan (reindeer herders), take advantage of the optional boat or horseback trip around Khuvsgul Lake. Magnificent vistas and picturesque spots in Khuvsgul Lake Explore a Tsaatan village and learn about the reindeer herders' way of life. Day 1: ULAANBAATAR & GENGHIS KHAN SQUARE

Go to Genghis Khan Square, which is at the city's heart. National History Museum: A guide will accompany you to the National History Museum, which displays geographical data and Mongolian history. Lodging: Spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2: ULAANBAATAR & MURUN CITY & KHUVSGUL LAKE

Drive to the airport for your trip to Murun City after breakfast. Drive to Khuvsgul Lake after arriving in Murun City.110km. Reach the tourist camp on the lake's shore.Horseback riding, fishing, boating, and other activities are optional. Accommodations: the tourist camp for the night.

Day 3:KHUVSGUL LAKE

Drive to the Tsaatan/Reindeer family in the morning to get to know them and learn about their way of life.Go to their tepee.Visit the Yak Breeding Family on the way back to the camp. Sample goods made from yak milk. nighttime free time. Accommodation: Spend the night at a campground.

Day 4: KHUVSGUL LAKE & MURUN CITY & ULAANBAATAR

We'll go to the local airport in Murun town after breakfast in order to catch an aircraft back to Ulaanbaatar. It takes one and a half hours to fly. Our driver will pick you up from the city airport and take you to your accommodation in the city.
