Currently, Kharkhorum is a tiny village and remains one of Mongolia’s key tourist spots. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, constructed in 1585 atop the remnants of the old city
Ongi Monastery is situated at the base of Mount Saikhan Ovoo, close to the village of Saikhan Ovoo in the Dundgovi province. Before its destruction in 1939 by the communist authorities, the monastery was among the largest and most esteemed monasteries in Mongolia. Although not much remains, visiting and exploring the ruins is still intriguing

This morning, you will be taken to the nearby airport for your flight to Ulaanbaatar. Your flight is set to leave at 08:40 am and is expected to land at the city airport by 10:00 am. Following breakfast, we will head to the Genghis Khan statue. Following our visit to the Genghis Khan statue complex, we will head back to UB by car.
