In the morning, you will be transferred to the city airport for morning flight to Gobi Desert (~1.5 hours). Upon arrival, your tour guide and driver meet you and depart to Yol Valley. Enjoy a leisurely hike and capture the charming landscapes and wildlife through photography.
Khongor Sand Dunes rank among Mongolia's largest sand dunes, extending over an area of 180 kilometers long. The highest dunes, soaring up to 800 meters tall, are located in the northwestern section of the range. Many individuals find climbing these dunes challenging. Yet, upon reaching the summit, you'll encounter a breathtaking vista of the desert. Enjoy a ride on the Bactrian camels with two humps.
Bayanzag, referred to as The Flaming Cliffs, is renowned for its historical significance, dinosaur remains, and the initial finding of dinosaur eggs. American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews, recognized for heading a number of expeditions, referred to this location as “Flaming Cliffs” due to the colors becoming increasingly vivid, particularly at sunset
This morning, a transfer will take you to the local airport for your flight to Ulaanbaatar. Your flight is set to leave at 08:40 am and is expected to land at the city airport by 10:00 am. Upon your arrival, our driver and guide will greet you at the airport. Our journey will proceed to Terelj National Park. Gorkhi Terelj is among the most popular and fascinating parks in Mongolia. Additionally, Turtle Rock is one of the most famous landmarks in Terelj. Remarkably, only a short distance from Turtle Rock, you will find another essential location: the Ariyabal Meditation Temple.
Following breakfast, we will travel to the Genghis Khan statue. Following our visit to the Genghis Khan statue complex, we will return to UB by car. Discover Mongolia's past at the museum, showcasing intriguing displays of culture and historical artifacts. Afterward, experience traditional Mongolian music and dance with the Tumen Ekh Ensemble.
Today, you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the city airport for your flight to Murun, the capital of the Northern Province. Upon your arrival, your local guide and driver will welcome you and take you to Khovsgol Lake. Its stunning landscapes and pristine surroundings make it an essential stop for anyone traveling through the northern parts of the country
Take pleasure in your leisure moments at Khuvsgul Lake today. Stroll leisurely by the lake, inhale the crisp mountain air, and enjoy the scenic sights. You will also have the chance to meet the Tsaatan family of reindeer herders. (Certain Tsaatan families visit Khuvsgul Lake from June through late August.)
Following breakfast, we will proceed to the local airport in Murun town to take a return flight to Ulaanbaatar. The duration of the flight is 1.5 hours. Upon your arrival at the city airport, our driver will collect you and take you to your hotel
